Cherry class have been exploring a range of non-chronological reports in English this morning. We have been 'text detectives' searching for key features of a non-chronological report. Can your child explain what a 'title', 'fact', 'sub-heading' and 'pictures and captions' are?

In History, Cherry class have been true historians looking at sources of the time and discussing if these would have been used by first class, second class or third-class passengers of the Titanic. We have also been identifying the features of the Titanic and what certain areas of the ship were used for. We have been shocked by the difference in entertainment to current times! 

Cherry class had lots of fun learning the skill of maypole dancing this morning! We were very enthusiastic and loved supporting our friends. 

KS1 had a very creative playtime in the sun today ☀️
