In Maple Class this year we have Mrs De La Salle and Mrs Bolter, Mrs Perkins, Mrs Watson and Miss Mahoney.

We are having an amazing time in Maple Class and we cannot wait to show everyone all the things we will learn and achieve this year.

We hope to make lots of progress this year in our number work and reading and writing activities. 

We always try our best and strive to impress the adults in our classroom.

In Cherry class this year we have Miss Startin, Miss Gardiner and Miss Samuroff.

We have settled into Year One really well. We all really enjoy coming to school and look forward to completing all the activities that our teachers plan for us.

The Snug staff are Miss Peck, Miss Lockhart, Miss Reynolds, Miss Tomkins, Mrs Gayle, Miss Sparks and Mrs Constable.

Our PE day is Thursday.

Please remember the children are to come into school wearing their PE kit on their PE day. This should be their normal school top half uniform with leggings or joggers and trainers/plimsolls.

Your child has a homework book which includes logins for Purple Mash, as well as termly challenges to complete.  Do not feel as though you have to do all of them! Your child can choose a range to complete over the course of the term. Some challenges do not need to be recorded into the books, just give them a tick to let us know if they have been completed or bring a photo if appropriate.

All homework will be celebrated with the class on a regular basis, however it will not be ‘marked’.

Children will receive a raffle ticket for each piece of homework completed.  This will be used in the weekly homework raffle for a chance to win a prize!

As a class we are working towards a reward, to achieve this we need to gain 100 ticks for being the best we can be. We are ALL very excited to achieve this!
