In our RE lesson in Beech Class this week on the importance of Prayer to Muslim's we were lucky enough to have our class experts lead us in a demonstration of the prayer positions they use in their prayer sessions. It was really special to see them teach us so confidently and share their prayer routines with us.

Year 2 have had some wonderfully creative playtimes this week! All of the children have enjoyed using the playground resources and have had a brilliant time!

This afternoon Hazel Class have been exploring different joining techniques in DT in preparation for making their mini eco houses in the next few weeks! They loved learning how to use the L brace, tabs, flange and slot to join things together.

This afternoon in PE, Year 2 continued their dance learning. This week we explored adding silk scarves to our dances to see how they made our bodies move. The children loved copying the calm, soft and slow movements of the scarves and also enjoyed putting together their own dances in pairs.
