Here are some exciting things that Hazel Class have been up to this week!🌟

This week, Year 2 practised chopping up fruits and tasted them in preparation for planning a healthy smoothie later in the term. 🍓🥝🍌

Hazel Class had a wonderful time this afternoon at our May Pole dancing experience, the children listened brilliantly and all had an excellent time☀️

KS1 had a very creative playtime in the sun today ☀️

This afternoon, Hazel class have enjoyed making their own digital art. We explored the technique of pointillism through the 2paint a picture feature on Purple Mash. We enjoyed revisiting our previous art learning all about pointillism and had lots of fun creating our own works of art!

Thank you to everyone who came to Year 2's Family Fun session yesterday. It was wonderful to see so many people, despite the rain we managed to have lots of fun and it was fantastic to see everyone enjoying themselves together! 

Today Hazel Class had their last DT lesson of the term and they had lots of fun! This term we have been learning about different fruits and vegetables, then planned our own smoothie recipe. The children were very excited to create their smoothies using their recipes and loved tasting them. They then evaluated their recipe and talked about what they liked, disliked and what they would change if they made it again. Ask your child if they enjoyed their smoothie, maybe they could make another one at home!
