Hazel Class had a wonderful afternoon in PE today! We continued our work on ball skills, this time moving onto chasing. The children had to roll a ball and see if they could collect it before it reached the other end of the hall. We then challenged ourselves by a partner rolling and bouncing a ball for us to chase and collect. The children worked well in teams and cheered each other on brilliantly. 

This afternoon, Hazel Class have been experimenting with line, colour and pattern as part of our new collage topic. The children used pictures of the sea, sea creatures and shells to inspire their patterns. They had lots of fun exploring different media such as paint, crayon, chalk, pencil and pen. 

This week in Art, Hazel Class continued their exploration of different collage techniques. We experimented with different shapes, colours and tones. The children enjoyed using a range of media to see which technique worked best.🖌️🖍️✏️🖊️

This week in history, Hazel Class became detectives! The children had to use different sources of evidence to find if a statement was true. They worked brilliantly in teams and really enjoyed spotting some tricky details in each different picture.
